I’m working to finish up a video games presentation for the Kansas Council for the Social Studies conference tomorrow and Monday while watching both KU and K-State get their hats handed to them. (Makes it a bit easier to concentrate with the Jayhawks down by 50 with 11:00 to go and the Wildcats down by 27 at the half.)

Anyway . . . looking forward to spending some time with teachers talking about simulations and video games. It’s always fun exploring possibilities and listening to teachers excited about student learning. I’m especially excited about leading some conversations on the use of Nintendo’s Wii console in the classroom.

Most of you won’t be able to make it to the conference and so I have embedded my preso below. You can view some of the resources we’ll use by heading over to Having Fun is a Good Thing under the Presentations page here at HistoryTech.

What possibilities and ideas can you share?
