I often get emails and messages from people asking to share links to “increase traffic” and improve our “mutual Search Engine Optimization strategies.” It seems like most originate in Nigeria or Russia and also include requests for my bank account information.
But every once in a while, contact is made with a site that can help teachers do their jobs better. It happened this week when I agreed to have a couple of my recent posts highlighted on TeachHUB. TeachHUB is sponsored by the K12 Teachers Alliance and while it does offer products and services for sale, TeachHUB also has some useful articles and lesson plans.
The TeachHUB motto is “For teachers, by teachers” and it seems like much of the content has been created by teachers. You can check out some interesting blogs and download lesson plans by actual classroom folks. There are daily teacher recommendations for web sites, quick teaching guides and useful tips on the K-12 News page.
And they never once asked me for my bank account info.
