Have I ever told you how much I like maps? I mean, in the last 24 hours? Cause if you’ve been to History Tech even just a couple of times, you know this already.
I love maps.
And thanks to Mike Hasley over at Henrico County Public Schools, I’ve got a couple extra websites to play with.
The first is titled, wait for it . . . Maps. Simple name for a site that has a ton a great map links. Created by the Arizona Geographic Alliance, the site has a definite southwestern feel. But if you’re looking for some handy outline maps of basic sorts of things, this is the place to go.
The Bedford/St. Martin’s textbook people have put together a useful site of 59 maps. Browse by American or World maps, check the maps you want, and the site will download all of the maps in a zip file directly to your desktop. The nice thing is that there are some cool historical maps as well as basic outline maps.
The best thing? Access is free.
