21st Century Literacy

Educational Consultant Alan November describes our generation as Information Age "immigrants". We can speak the "language" of technology but don't feel comfortable because it is not our first language.

November argues that our students are true second and third generation users of technology. They speak the "language" fluently and without hesitation. I only have to compare my high school age son e-mailing digital photographs to my 82 year-old father to see that November is right.
